Stealing the Show - Auckland HomeShow ‘08

Through the introduction of a new brand, a second stand and a myriad of new products, the platform for a powerful presence was laid. Coupled with the allure of the Fisher & Paykel World Cooking Theatre and the charisma of the Team New Zealand A1GP car, its no wonder Fisher & Paykel was one of the talking points of the 2008 Auckland HomeShow.

ELBA, holding its own brand-new stand, made its first appearance ever at a HomeShow. The personality of the brand and its positioning in the market were communicated clearly through a simple and colourful display. Having the ELBA product line-up present also allowed customers to see the entire Fisher & Paykel offering, broadening the appeal of the stands beyond the premium.

This year, the Fisher & Paykel stand was redesigned to incorporate an immaculately propped and designed kitchen for the display of the IZONA range, which was the true star of the show. The CoolDrawer, VentSurface and CookSurface as well as the chic design of the kitchen captivated virtually every passer-by, both consumers and kitchen designers alike.

The Designer Series kitchen on the Fisher & Paykel stand was the perfect setting to display a variety of new products. The 1200mm freestanding cooker, induction hobs, OneTouch™ dishwasher, frameless ceramic hob and large OB76 oven stirred plenty of excitement among customers seeking new and cutting edge appliances for their kitchens.

All in all, the 2008 Auckland HomeShow has gone down as a resounding success for Fisher & Paykel.
